 Advertising and Promotion Release
**Consent for Use of Likeness**
By allowing your child to participate in our Camp or Camp Production, you consent to the reproduction and/or use of your child's photographs, videotapes, films, and audio recordings for advertising and promotional purposes by ABCT Theater or its affiliated programs.
**Volunteers Responsibilities**
Please review the following requirements to ensure we can deliver outstanding performance. ABCT aims to promote volunteer opportunities and ensure that responsibilities are shared fairly.
We ask that each performer’s parent(s) or guardian(s) contribute a total of four (4) hours of volunteer time towards the summer program and the end-of-camp production, including move-in, strike (takedown), or chaperoning at a show. A list of available volunteer opportunities will be provided, and sign-up sheets will be available upon registration. Additionally, the summer program will include a week of late-night rehearsals. We kindly request that all parents contribute cash or food items for dinner for the kids during this time.
**Auditions/Casting**
At ABCT, we take pride in having some of the best musical theater directors available, and it is a privilege to have them with us each summer. Our stage director, vocal director, and choreographer will be auditioning all students for our summer shows. We have one scheduled audition time for each production. If you wish to request a separate audition, please submit your request to the stage director in writing.
As with any audition, a cast member may be disappointed with their assigned role. If you have concerns about casting, please write them down and send them to the ABCT office addressed to Anthony Bean. Mr. Bean will make the final decision regarding your child's role. The staff will not discuss casting issues with you until you submit a letter outlining your concerns.
Â
**Costuming**
We provide a large selection of costumes for all students, but sometimes we need parental assistance. In such cases, we will send a letter to inform parents about what is needed to complete their child's costume.
Please note that a list of costume requirements may not be available until the program begins. If you have any costume questions, please get in touch with The School Office at (504) 862-7529.
