JUNGLE KINGS is a play of redemption, built on a mission, tower create empathy, give voice to the voiceless, stretch hearts and save lives. It explores the inner workings of the mind of 25-year-old Jason Watts aka Baby Cockroach, incarcerated since the age of 15, and the battle that takes place for his soul just days before his parole board hearing. We are taken on a journey through his life, as the influences in his life are used like pawns on a chess board to help him decide his next move of life and empower him to rise out of the negative life he has led. Audience members will be mesmerized as they watch the intense struggle Baby Cockroach endured battling his own demons, to make the hard decisions within himself, to emerge from the boy whose gang initiation crime has held him captive, behind bars for the last 10 years of his life, to manhood.
